Bryan Plamondon serves as global economics director focusing on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) group at IHS Markit. He is responsible for overseeing the macroeconomic analyses and forecasts of the 20 countries included in the MENA region. He has a particular focus on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Iran. He has more than 10 years of experience in analyzing and forecasting emerging markets. Mr. Plamondon’s university degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Physics from Clark University, Worcester, Mass., US, and a Master of Science in International Economics from Suffolk University, Boston, Mass., US.
