Title

CERAWeek Acknowledgment Policy
IHS Markit requires that CERAWeek by IHS Markit be mentioned in all reports related to its events.

All mentions of the conference should use “CERAWeek by IHS Markit” as the conference name for the first mention in each news story (whether print, web or broadcast) and then refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Any article or interview derived from CERAWeek by IHS Markit events should mention the conference by referring to “CERAWeek by IHS Markit” as the conference name for the first mention in each news story and refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Television / Video
Any program or interview derived from CERAWeek events should mention the conference verbally or visibly display the CERAWeek by IHS Markit logo. Verbal mentions of the conference should refer to the event as “CERAWeek by IHS Markit” for the first mention in each segment and refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Photos
Any published photos of CERAWeek by IHS Markit events should mention “CERAWeek by IHS Markit” in the photo caption.

Online Publications
Any article or interview related to CERAWeek by IHS Markit events should mention “CERAWeek by IHS Markit” as the conference name for the first mention in each news story and refer to the conference name as “CERAWeek” for any subsequent mentions within the same news story.

Social Media
Any post related to CERAWeek by IHS Markit events should mention the conference.

General Policies/Restrictions

  • All CERAWeek sessions listed on the main conference program (https://ceraweek.com/agenda) are open to journalists unless otherwise stated. Please consult the CERAWeek 2018 agenda and the IHS Markit Online Press Room (http://news.ihsmarkit.com) for details.
  • Any sessions that are CLOSED to news media will also be listed in the IHS Markit Media Work Room

Audio Policies/Restrictions

  • Audio recording devices are permitted unless otherwise stated. A mult box is available in the press work room and media briefing room (Rooms 343 A/B and 344 A/B).
  • Audio recordings of CERAWeek sessions or events in their entirety are not to be publicly distributed without express written permission from IHS Markit.

Video Policies/Restrictions

  • No video recording of any kind is permitted inside CERAWeek sessions without express written permission from IHS Markit.
  • On-camera interviews are permitted in the media briefing room and designated filming areas on the third floor only. Consult the CERAWeek 2018 agenda for the locations of authorized filming areas.
  • Video recording in the prefunction areas (lobby areas outside of the conference rooms) on floors two and four is permitted from designated areas for the purposes of recording b-roll footage only. Conducting on-camera interviews at these locations is prohibited. All on-camera interviews should be conducted at designated filming areas on the third floor. Please consult the CERAWeek agenda for locations.
  • Live video broadcast is prohibited without express written permission from IHS Markit.


Still Photography

  • Still photography by credentialed media is permitted in all conference sessions that are open to media unless otherwise stated.
  • Still photography in the prefunction areas (lobby areas outside of the conference rooms) is permitted from designated photography areas only. Please consult the CERAWeek agenda for locations.
  • Still photography inside the ballroom during lunches and dinners is permitted during the keynote speech only. Photographers will be permitted to enter the ballroom through the Photographers Entrance (see CERAWeek agenda for location) prior to the start of the keynote speech. Photographers are not permitted in the ballroom prior to the beginning of the speech.


Obtaining Media Credentials

Registered media may pick up their credentials in the main lobby of the Hilton Americas – Houston beginning Sunday, March 4 at 3:00pm
