Tim Armstrong is Vice President of Forecast Planning at IHS Automotive. He is responsible for the group’s syndicated automotive research and analysis worldwide, comprises of 175 automotive analysts located in 26 offices globally.Tim has twenty five years’ experience in forecasting, analysis and management, originally specializing in emerging markets. Since joining DRI in 1996 he has headed automotive research on Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Middle East and Africa. After the acquisition of Global Insight by IHS Inc. in 2008 he assumed global responsibility for Forecast Planning.Tim holds a Master of Economics from the University of Western Australia and Bachelor's degrees in economics and finance from Murdoch University and Curtin University.
