Senior Economist, IHS Economics and Country Risk
Mr. Brian Jackson is a Senior Economist with the IHS China Regional Service, providing insight into economic and policy developments at both the national- and provincial-level. Prior to joining IHS, Mr. Jackson worked as a policy analyst with the American Chamber of Commerce in China. Previously, he worked with the International Trade Centre, a joint-agency of UNCTAD and the WTO, and on various China-based consulting projects funded by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Trade. Mr. Jackson’s degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colo., U.S., and a Master in Economics and Finance from the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI), an institution in Madrid, Spain, created by the Bank of Spain.
